The bid/tender documentation is distributed to custom home builder companies on day one of bid process. Threadgold Architecture + Construction, after client approval, invites six Fort-Worth custom home general contractors to bid. Six builders who are available to bid on the custom home design are issued architectural working drawings.
All Fort-Worth custom home general contractors receive an identical set of tender documentation to submit a bid price. The bid/tender program is typically a six (6) week bid duration. The Fort-Worth custom home builders shall submit a lump sum price based on the same project parameters. Parameters include: building contract, construction program, liquidated damages and an identical scope of work as identified in the bid documentation. Following the custom home design bid process, Threadgold Architecture + Construction provides a bid analysis to the client. The custom home builders bids always vary and may yield significant cost savings for discerning clients. The bid documentation then forms the contract documents along with any addenda issued through the bidding period.
