These accessory dwelling unit plans open up to deliver 753 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space. The architectural design utilizes an additional 452 square feet/42 square meters of external alfresco area for entertaining.
The architectural layout provides a terrace sun-drenched external area; suited for extended family or an artist in residence. The floor area synchronizes with local authority planning schemes that provide planning policy for ADU plans. The open-plan living area has raking plasterboard ceilings of the conform to passive solar design principles. The burnished concrete slab augment solar heat gain during the cooler winter months when correctly orientated onsite.

The material palette utilizes gunmetal grey single lock standing seam cladding and fire-rated eaves linings that are framed by black oxide burnished concrete floors. The architectural specification provides for 8 feet/2400mm high clear anodized aluminum joinery and timber pivot door. Building servicing can include a solar hot water and Chazelle firebox for wood fuel boosting. Blum Aventos lift overhead cupboards to the kitchen cantilever above the Porcelain panel bench-top height splash-back window.
